The Bottles
The bottles are manufactured using polypropylene plastic. Blow molding is the process
used in shaping the plastic to the bottle form. Fortilene KB4175 is an
antistated polypropylene random copolymer produced by Solvay Polymers
utilizing unique catalyst technology. This material meets the Food
and Drug Administration requirements of 21CFR 177.1520, conforms
to USP XXIII Class VI requirements, and is Kosher certified.
The Bottle Screw Caps
The manufacturing of the bottle screw caps is an
injection molded process. These caps are made
using polypropylene plastic. Fortilene 1803 is a controlled rheology
polypropylene homopolymer produced by Soltex utilizing unique catalyst
technology. It is designed for injection molded applications that
require improved impact. The material meets the Food and Drug
Administration requirements of 21CFR 177.1520.
The Bottle Cap Plugs
The bottle cap plugs are used as a seal between the
bottle and the screw cap. Since the screw caps do not
contain a liner of any type, the cap plugs are used to prevent leakage.
The manufacturing of the cap plugs is an injection molded process. The
cap plugs are made using low density polyethylene plastic. The plastic resin
in the cap plugs meets the requirements of the FDAs regulation 21CFR 177.1520
for contact with food.
