Use Instructions for the "Mother’s Milkmate"™ Note: Mother’s Milkmate may be used in either the refrigerator or kitchen freezer. First time Usage Sterilize all bottles, screw caps, and cap plugs in boiling water for at least ten minutes before first use. Make sure all parts are covered in water.

Before each use
Clean all bottles, screw caps, and cap plugs before each use.

Cleaning Instructions
If using a dishwasher for cleaning of components, use only the top rack of your kitchen dishwasher.

Important:
Never use a microwave to warm or thaw milk in bottles or components.
Do not fill bottles more than three-quarters full.

To use for storage of breastmilk

1. Pump breast milk into Mother's Milkmate bottles
   directly or collection bottles provided with with breast pump.
   
2. Transfer milk into "Mother's Milk Mate" Bottles; do not fill bottles more 
   than three quarters full.
   
3. Insert cap plug all the way into bottle, so lip is flush with upper edge of
   the bottle.
   
4. Screw on plastic screw cap.
   
5. Place label with date on bottle.
   
6. Bottle is ready for storage in either the refrigerator
   or the kitchen freezer.

To use milk from bottles

1. Remove bottle from refrigerator and warm milk in warm water to prepare for feeding.   
   -or-
   
2. Remove bottle from freezer and either place in refrigerator to defrost or put in 
   warm water to defrost and prepare for consumption.
   
3. Remove bottle cap plug and replace with nipple ring and nipple for consumption.
